How is my school structured?

At EF English Live we know that a good method is the key to proficiency.
That's why we've structured our course so you can easily track your progress and pick up where you left off between learning sessions.

Levels
Our school includes 16 levels from beginner to advanced and all our courses are aligned with the Common European Framework of languages (CEFR).
Don't forget to do your assessment test to make sure you're placed in the correct level. If you are unhappy with your level you can change it at any time.

Units
Each level has 6 units. A unit usually covers a general topic (such as 'Dealing with information')
You have to complete a unit before you can move on to the next one. This is to ensure that you follow the right path through your level.
Please note that it is not mandatory to take group or private classes to complete your unit but it is recommended. Private and Group Classes help you improve your speaking skills.

Lessons
Each unit has 4 lessons. Lessons combine various types of exercises such as Vocabulary, Grammar, Listening, Expressions, Writing exercises etc.
Through all the different lessons you complete you will acquire the vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation you need.
Our lessons are fun and engaging and you can track your progress on your Progress and Feedback page.

You can take your lessons both on your desktop and apps and it's all synced so you can pick up where you left off.

Happy learning!
