EF English Live Referral Portal

Terms and Conditions

Last updated 26/11/2021

The EF English Live Referral Program (“The Program”) allows Members to earn Cash Rewards by referring friends to become new users on EF English Live (i.e., not appear in the EF English Live database).
To participate, Members must agree to these terms, which become part of the EF English Live Terms and Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy.
How to Earn Cash Rewards
Members can earn Cash Rewards when: (i) a referred friend signs up by creating a valid EF English Live account through that complies with our Terms and Conditions; and (ii) the referred friend completes a valid course purchase and completes any guaranteed period.

Both the referring Member and the referred friend will be able to redeem their Cash Reward through the referral portal after the completion of the referred friend’s course purchase, and after any potential promotional period, free trial or guaranteed period has expired.
Redeeming Cash Rewards
Cash Rewards earned through the EF English Live Referral Scheme may only be redeemed via the EF English Live referral portal. Once earned and validated, Cash Rewards will appear on the referring Member’s Hub in their digital wallet.

Cash Rewards may not be earned by creating multiple EF English Live Accounts. Cash Rewards accrued in separate EF English Live accounts may not be combined into one EF English Live account.

Cash Rewards can only be earned or redeemed while the referring Member holds a valid and active subscription and when all payments are up to date. Cash Rewards can only be earned up to a value as much as the Member has paid on the EF English Live Course. Any Cash Rewards that fall outside of this limit will be in the Digital Wallet but will not redeemable.

Cash Rewards must be redeemed within one year from the date they are issued, after which they will expire. Cash Rewards will expire automatically when the referring Member's subscription is cancelled or expired.

If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your Cash Reward, please contact us. EF English Live may require you to submit additional information in order to make a decision regarding your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at EF English Live’s sole discretion.
Referring your Friends
Members can choose to refer in two methods.

1. Members can submit personal information of their friends, family members or colleagues, such as name and e-mail address information directly on the referral portal.

2. Members use the sharing link which they can share to social media platforms and will allow for friends, family members or colleagues to sign themselves up.

Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes.

EF English Live reserves the right to any remedy, including cancellation of your account or disabling access to the referral portal if fraud, tampering, violations of these terms or EF English Live’s Terms and Conditions, or technical errors are suspected.
Multiple Referrals
If a referred friend receives referral emails through the sign-up of multiple Members, or uses several sharing links to sign-up, only the Member associated with the first referral link used by the referred friend will receive the cash reward.

The Program may not be combined with other EF English Live referral programs or incentives.
Termination and Changes
EF English Live may suspend or terminate The Program or a user’s ability to participate in it at any time for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Cash Rewards if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the EF English Live Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
Updates to the Terms
We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the EF English Live referral portal. Continued participation in The Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
